Pool Remodeling & Renovation

Thoughtful renovations that improve an aging pool’s finish, function, efficiency, and relationship to the rest of the yard.

Pool Remodeling & Renovation — Reef Pools and Spas project photography

Renovating a pool is an opportunity to solve the reasons the backyard feels dated or difficult—not simply swap one finish for another. The best remodels consider the waterline, coping, deck, equipment, lighting, access, and adjacent gathering spaces together.

Reef Pools and Spas evaluates what is worth preserving, what needs attention, and which changes will create the biggest improvement. The goal is a clear, prioritized scope that respects the existing structure while giving the whole environment a more current point of view.

  • A coordinated plan for finishes, function, and surrounding spaces
  • Options for modern lighting, controls, and equipment
  • Better visual transitions between pool, deck, and landscape
  • A practical scope focused on meaningful improvements

Questions

Helpful answers before you begin.

Can you update the look without changing the pool shape?

Often, yes. Interior finish, tile, coping, decking, lighting, and surrounding outdoor spaces can substantially change the pool’s character without rebuilding the shell.

Can equipment be included in a cosmetic remodel?

Yes. Equipment and controls can be reviewed alongside the visual work so any useful upgrades are coordinated with the renovation schedule.

Do you renovate spas and water features too?

Spa spillways, raised walls, water features, lighting, and adjacent materials can all be considered as part of a broader pool renovation.
