Reef Pools and Spas is Robert Welty's local pool company, and Robert is the builder. With more than 35 years of swimming pool construction experience — first inside one of the largest family-owned pool builders in Las Vegas, then hands-on in tropical Australia — he now leads the design and construction of every Reef Pools and Spas project across Montgomery County and the surrounding Texas Gulf Coast communities. Early 1990s
Las Vegas, Nevada
Robert started his career in the early 1990s with one of the largest family-owned pool construction companies in Las Vegas. He spent years inside the operational side of high-volume, design-driven custom work — desert climate, tight tolerances, and the discipline it takes to keep a large custom pipeline on schedule.
Hands-on years abroad
Cairns, Australia
He then took that foundation international, working hands-on building swimming pools in tropical Cairns, Australia. The work sharpened his view of how climate, materials, water chemistry, and outdoor living come together — and how a pool becomes part of daily life, not a backyard feature.
Today
Montgomery, Texas
Across a career that spans hundreds of custom swimming pools and outdoor living projects, Robert has stayed close to the work. Today he brings that experience to homeowners across Montgomery County and the wider Texas Gulf Coast region through Reef Pools and Spas — one builder, one project at a time.
